Seo Hyun-jin Returns to Variety After 7 Years, Shares Sandwich Shop Experience Post-M.I.L.K. Disbandment

In the upcoming episode of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' (유 퀴즈 온 더 블럭), airing on November 20 at 8:45 PM, a special segment titled 'The Timing of That Day' will feature notable guests including Italian chef Fabrizio Ferrari, forensic scientist Kim Moon-young, and actress Seo Hyun-jin.

Fabrizio Ferrari, a beloved chef known for holding a Michelin star for 15 consecutive years and being a protégé of Baek Jong-won, will share his journey on the show. He will discuss his life after appearing on the popular cooking show 'Black and White Chef' and reveal how his passion for cooking developed from his background in law, chemistry, and art. Viewers can look forward to hearing about the secrets behind his rapid rise to Michelin recognition within just two years, the unexpected person who encouraged him to move to Korea, and a humorous incident that led him to Jeonju immediately upon his arrival at the airport. His experiences learning temple cuisine from Master Jeonggwan and his role as a kimchi ambassador will also be highlighted, along with his evolving tastes in Korean food, including his newfound love for rice bowls and iced Americanos.

The episode will also feature a conversation with forensic scientist Kim Moon-young, a professor at Sungkyunkwan University. As the only student of renowned forensic expert Yoo Seong-ho, Kim will recount his journey to becoming a forensic scientist after being inspired by the show 'CSI.' He has conducted over 1,069 autopsies and will share shocking cases that revealed critical truths, as well as the challenges of his profession, including the emotional weight of writing autopsy reports. Kim, who is also a former member of the idol group H.O.T., will provide insights into his dual life as a forensic scientist and entertainer.

Actress Seo Hyun-jin, who has been in the industry for 24 years, will also share her experiences. After a seven-year hiatus from variety shows since 'Infinite Challenge' (무한도전), she expresses her excitement about returning, noting that she has mostly worked with Yoo Jae-suk in her limited variety appearances. Formerly the main vocalist of the girl group M.I.L.K., Seo will discuss her transition from studying traditional Korean dance at a performing arts school to her career in entertainment, including her early days as a trainee.
