Seo Hyorim Shares Update After the Passing of Kim Soo Mi

Seo Hyorim, the daughter-in-law of the late Kim Soo Mi, has shared her recent experiences following the passing of her beloved mother-in-law. On November 26, 2024, the actress conveyed her family's current situation, expressing her feelings of loss. She wrote, "It's been a month... but we still have to do what needs to be done, like preparing kimchi... I miss her even more."

The post included a photo of Seo Hyorim and her husband, Jeong Myung Ho, who is the CEO of Napal Kkot F&B, as they gathered together to make kimchi. Seo Hyorim was seen meticulously checking the cabbage and radishes she had harvested from the field, drawing attention for her dedication.

Seo Hyorim had always regarded her mother-in-law, Kim Soo Mi, as her own mother, and their close relationship had often been highlighted in the media. Kim Soo Mi was well-known for her generosity, as she would prepare large quantities of kimchi each year to share with friends, making her absence even more poignant.

Kim Soo Mi passed away unexpectedly on October 25, 2024, at the age of 75. She was transported to Seoul's St. Mary's Hospital in a state of cardiac arrest but unfortunately did not survive. The cause of death was reported as cardiac arrest due to hyperglycemic shock.
