Seo Hyorim Shares Heartfelt Message from Kim Hye-ja on 'Dad and Me'

In the latest episode of TV Chosun's variety show 'Dad and Me' (아빠하고 나하고), Seo Hyorim moved viewers by sharing a touching text message she received from Kim Hye-ja following the passing of her mother-in-law, the late Kim Soo-mi.

During the broadcast on March 25, Seo Hyorim appeared visibly affected, prompting host Jeon Hyun-moo to comment on her weight loss, suggesting it might be due to emotional distress. Seo Hyorim reflected on her feelings of regret, stating, 'I can only think about what I couldn't do for her. She was such a big umbrella, a tree in my life. I don't know how to move forward.'

She expressed disbelief over her mother's death, saying, 'It was so sudden that I didn't even realize how hard it was until I crossed a line. I live with daily regrets and self-blame.'

The episode also featured heartfelt moments as Seo Hyorim, her husband Jung Myung-ho, and close friends Kim Young-ok and Kim Hye-ja reminisced about the late Kim Soo-mi. Notably, Kim Hye-ja's text message sent on October 27, after Kim Soo-mi's passing, was revealed for the first time. In the message, she wrote, 'Soo-mi, I miss you. Where are you? Please let me know.' Seo Hyorim shared that she was so moved by the message that she replied, 'You have arrived safely in heaven.'
