Scarlett Johansson Invites Yoo Jae-suk to Film Together on 'You Quiz on the Block'

On the July 9 episode of tvN's You Quiz on the Block (유 퀴즈 온 더 블럭), actress Scarlett Johansson made headlines by suggesting a film collaboration with host Yoo Jae-suk. Johansson, who was in South Korea to promote her movie Jurassic World: Dominion (쥬라기 월드 : 새로운 시작), humorously remarked on the film's hefty budget of approximately 240 billion KRW, joking that it could cover the cost of a wedding for Jeff Bezos.

When Yoo asked if the large production budget was a source of pressure, Johansson candidly admitted, 'It is indeed stressful and nerve-wracking. The higher the budget, the more pressure there is to meet expectations. I think the dinosaur salaries contributed significantly to the production costs,' which elicited laughter from the audience.

Comedian Jo Se-ho chimed in, pointing out that Yoo Jae-suk also has a connection to dinosaur films, to which Yoo humorously responded that his role involved a human pretending to be a dinosaur, adding that the film wasn't a box office success.

Johansson then inquired if Yoo's film was a competitor to Steven Spielberg's works, leading Yoo to clarify that his film, Baby Dinosaur Jjoo Jjoo (아기공룡 쭈쭈), was indeed in competition with Jurassic World.

In a light-hearted moment, Johansson invited Yoo to film together, saying, 'If you come to New York, let me know. I’ll give you a tour of the city.' Jo Se-ho mentioned that Johansson enjoys comedy, to which she revealed, 'My husband is a writer for SNL and works at Rockefeller Center, so I can catch the SNL show too,' bringing more laughter to the set.
