SBS's 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2' Celebrates 400 Episodes with Special Guests

The popular South Korean couple reality show, SBS's 'Same Bed, Different Dreams Season 2 – You Are My Destiny' (동상이몽 시즌 2 – 너는 내 운명), is set to celebrate its 400th episode on August 4. Since its debut in July 2017, the show has consistently held its Monday night slot, becoming one of the longest-running and most beloved couple variety programs in the country. 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2' boasts impressive ratings, achieving a peak viewership of 15.8% (according to Nielsen Korea) and maintaining the number one spot in its time slot for 76 consecutive weeks. Additionally, the show's YouTube clips have amassed over 1.8 billion views, highlighting its widespread popularity.

The show features a diverse array of star couples, showcasing their unique 'different dreams' while also portraying the genuine and relatable aspects of married life. A total of 90 couples have appeared on the show, including the first couple, Lee Jae-myung (이재명) and Kim Hye-kyung (김혜경), as well as notable pairs like Choo Ja-hyun (추자현) and Woo Hyo-kwang (우효광), Han Go-eun (한고은) and Shin Young-soo (신영수), and the long-standing couple Son Ji-chang (손지창) and Oh Yeon-soo (오연수). The show has also featured newlyweds like Kangnam (강남) and Lee Sang-hwa (이상화), and Jin Tae-hyun (진태현) and Park Si-eun (박시은), who shared their touching story of adopting a college-aged daughter.

To commemorate its 400th episode, 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2' will air a six-week special featuring some of the most memorable couples from the show. Kicking off the special is caricature artist Jeong Eun-hye (정은혜), who gained attention for her role as Han Ji-min's twin sister in the drama 'Our Blues.' Jeong, who has Down syndrome, married Jo Young-nam (조영남) in May after a year of dating, and the couple will share their story on the show, emphasizing the meaning of family.

Following them, the beloved couple In Gyo-jin (인교진) and So Yi-hyun (소이현), known as the 'Inso Couple,' will also make an appearance. They have been a fan-favorite on the show, showcasing their fun and friendly dynamic while also displaying their affectionate side. This will be their first time appearing together as a couple since the show's third-anniversary special in 2020, raising excitement among fans.

The 400th episode special will not only feature Jeong Eun-hye and Jo Young-nam, and In Gyo-jin and So Yi-hyun, but will also include other beloved couples and new pairs, making it a highly anticipated event. The special will air on SBS on August 4 at 10:10 PM.
