SBS's New Drama 'Try: We Become Miracles' Set to Premiere on July 25

SBS has confirmed that its new Friday-Saturday drama, 'Try: We Become Miracles' (트라이: 우리는 기적이 된다), will premiere on July 25. The series, written by Lim Jin-ah and directed by Jang Young-seok, follows the story of a former rugby player, Joo Ga-ram, whose career spirals down due to doping, and the underdog rugby team at Hanyang High School as they strive for victory in the National Sports Festival. The drama features a talented cast including Yoon Kye-sang (as Joo Ga-ram), Lim Se-mi (as Bae Ji), and Kim Yo-han (as Yoon Seong-jun), promising a blend of strong performances and vibrant energy.

The first script reading session for 'Try' has been revealed, showcasing the powerful chemistry among the cast and crew. The event included director Jang Young-seok, writer Lim Jin-ah, and a lineup of actors such as Yoon Kye-sang, Lim Se-mi, Kim Yo-han, and many others, all contributing to the lively atmosphere of this comedic sports drama.

Yoon Kye-sang's return to the screen with his comedic flair has garnered attention, as he perfectly embodies the unpredictable new coach of the Hanyang rugby team, Joo Ga-ram. His humorous delivery, including the line "The coach is here," brought laughter to the reading, while his charismatic presence showcased his dedication to protecting his students.

Lim Se-mi also stood out as Bae Ji, the playing coach of the shooting team and Joo Ga-ram's ex-girlfriend. Her performance captured the determination of an athlete undeterred by life's challenges, transitioning from a fierce 'ex-girlfriend' mode during her reunion with Joo Ga-ram, adding depth to her character.

Kim Yo-han, portraying the team captain Yoon Seong-jun, returned to his teenage years, passionately expressing the struggles and aspirations of leading a team that has faced defeat. His dynamic with the new coach, Yoon Kye-sang, adds an exciting layer to the narrative, especially when he passionately exclaims, "Losing is just losing!" during a heated moment.

The script reading session was filled with energy, with veteran actors and fresh talent alike bringing the characters to life, raising anticipation for the unique team dynamics that 'Try' promises to deliver.

The production team expressed their excitement, stating, "The first broadcast of 'Try' is set for July 25. The passion and energy of the cast have already ignited the atmosphere, creating vibrant characters. We hope viewers will look forward to a summer filled with laughter and thrilling growth stories from 'Try.'"
