SBS's New Drama 'Our Movie' Unveils Character Posters Ahead of Premiere

SBS is ramping up excitement for its upcoming Friday-Saturday drama 'Our Movie' by releasing character posters that showcase the diverse and intriguing personalities within the series. Set to premiere on June 13 at 9:50 PM, 'Our Movie' tells a poignant love story reminiscent of a melodrama, featuring an actor, Lee Da-eum (이다음), who is nearing the end of her life due to a rare illness, and a director, Lee Je-ha (이제하), who is struggling to reclaim his former glory.
In the posters, Namgoong Min portrays the genius director Lee Je-ha, who is depicted as a man yearning for a comeback after his fleeting fame. His line, "Even love that seems eternal eventually fades away," reveals his skepticism about love, raising curiosity about the emotional depth of the melodrama he creates.
Jeon Yeo-been plays Lee Da-eum, the actress facing her mortality. Her poignant question, "Does love disappear when you die?" encapsulates her desperate longing for love, which will be a central theme of the drama.
Lee Seol takes on the role of Chae Seo-young, a top actress known for her cold demeanor and strong beliefs. Her declaration, "As an actress, I need the films I want to make," highlights her ambition and pride.
Seo Hyun-woo plays the confident producer Boo Seung-won, who boasts, "Whether it's melodrama or anything else, if I touch it, it turns to gold," showcasing his Midas touch in the film industry. Seo Yi-seo portrays Kim Jung-woo, the male lead in Lee Je-ha's next project, adding a layer of tension with his remark, "I can't quite read the director's mind."
'Our Movie' promises to explore the intertwined emotions of love, competition, and friendship through the lens of filmmaking. This drama is expected to resonate deeply with viewers as it delves into the profound moments where life, love, and art converge.
