SBS LIFE to Launch with New Show Featuring Divorce Lawyers

SBS Media Net has announced the launch of its new lifestyle channel, SBS LIFE, set to debut on December 2, 2024. The channel aims to enrich viewers' daily lives with a variety of programs under the slogan 'The Joys of Everyday Life.'

SBS LIFE will cover a wide range of topics, including health, food, travel, and pets, providing diverse content designed to enhance the quality of life for its audience. The channel plans to deliver original programs and digital content that combine education, information, and entertainment.

Before the official launch, SBS LIFE will introduce digital content that reflects its core themes. This includes the TV version of the digital spin-off from 'TV 동물농장' (TV Animal Farm), titled 'TV 애니멀봐' (TV Animal Watch), which focuses on pet stories. Other offerings include food programs like '정육왕' (Meat King) and '마리아주의 맛있는 미담' (Maria's Delicious Stories), as well as travel content such as '유일랜드' (Youiland), showcasing popular domestic and international destinations and eateries. Collaborations with YouTubers are also planned to boost viewership and explore new business opportunities.

The channel's first original program, '원탁의 변호사들' (The Roundtable Lawyers), features passionate law firm head Tak Jae-hoon (탁재훈) alongside legal experts Lee Ji-hye (이지혜) and Shin Gyu-jin (신규진). This entertaining show will analyze and resolve various divorce cases in collaboration with actual divorce lawyers, with filming scheduled for December.

Additionally, SBS LIFE will introduce original programs in the trot genre, starting with '더 트롯쇼' (The Trot Show), the first chart show dedicated to ranking trot singers, with plans to expand its unique trot programming.

With the launch of SBS LIFE, the SBS Media Group will operate a total of nine cable channels, including SBS Plus, SBS funE, SBS M, SBS Sports, SBS Golf, SBS Golf2, and SBS Biz, solidifying its position as a comprehensive broadcasting company and a global media group.
