SBS 2024 Acting Awards: A Showdown Among Top Stars

Today marks the highly anticipated 'SBS 2024 Acting Awards,' set to take place at 8:35 PM KST at the SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. This year, the competition for the prestigious Grand Prize is fierce, featuring notable actors such as Ji Sung (지성), Jang Na-ra (장나라), Park Shin-hye (박신혜), and Kim Nam-gil (김남길).

Jang Na-ra's performance in 'Good Partner,' which ended in September with the highest ratings among its peers at 18.7%, also makes her a formidable nominee. She played the role of Cha Eun-kyung, a star lawyer specializing in divorce, showcasing a side of her acting that captivated audiences with her charisma and emotional depth.

Park Shin-hye's transformation in 'The Judge from Hell,' which wrapped up in November, has also caught the attention of viewers. She portrayed Kang Bit-na, a character who punishes unrepentant criminals in a chilling manner, achieving a notable rating of 13.7%.

Lastly, Kim Nam-gil, who is currently starring in 'The Fiery Priest 2,' has returned after five years, continuing to charm fans with his portrayal of the hot-headed priest Kim Hae-il. The show has maintained impressive ratings, starting with 12.4% and keeping a double-digit viewership, raising expectations for Kim Nam-gil's potential second Grand Prize win.
