Sayuri Shares How She Started Her Broadcasting Career

On the March 10 episode of Channel A's 'Close Friends Documentary: Four-Person Dining Table' (절친 토큐멘터리 4인용식탁), Sayuri revealed the story behind her entry into broadcasting. The episode featured singer Henry, known for his musical genius, inviting his close friends Sam Hammington, Sayuri, and Kim Soo-ro over for a meal.
Henry entertained his friends with a fire show while preparing food, mentioning that he considers Pyongyang cold noodles (평양냉면) to be his soul food. Sayuri expressed her love for Korean cuisine, particularly Pyongyang cold noodles, sharing, "I had tteokbokki and sundae in Koreatown, and they were so delicious. A friend told me that the original tastes even better. I planned to stay for just three months to experience it, but I ended up staying longer."
She continued, "I still love sundae and Korean food. Then I got a boyfriend, and after dating for a while, we eventually broke up. He thought it would be great for me to appear on 'Beauty's Talk' (미녀들의 수다). I participated in the show hoping he would come back."
