Ryu Seon-jae Shines at 2024 MAMA Awards with Byun Woo-seok's Performance of 'Sonagi'

Ryu Seon-jae made a notable appearance at the 2024 MAMA AWARDS JAPAN, held on November 23 at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan. Byun Woo-seok attended the event, celebrating both his performance of 'Sonagi' and his award win.

Byun Woo-seok received the 'Favorite Global Trending Music' award for his song 'Sonagi,' which is part of the OST for the drama 'Seonjae Up Go Tui.' The track has gained significant attention, charting on domestic music platforms as well as the Billboard Global charts.

Upon receiving the award, Byun Woo-seok expressed his gratitude, stating, "I want to thank the 'Seonjae Up Go Tui' team for helping me sing such a wonderful song. I sincerely appreciate the fans who love our work and our song. I also want to thank our hardworking team members who put in so much effort."

Reflecting on the moment, he added, "I suddenly feel blank," before expressing his love for his fan club, known as 'Uchetong.' He also mentioned his fellow cast members, saying, "Inhyuk, Hyunsoo, Jae, we did it! This has been Eclipse."

Following his speech, Byun Woo-seok's performance of 'Sonagi' was unveiled for the first time. He took the stage with a mix of nerves and determination, delivering a heartfelt rendition of the song. The performance featured a signature yellow umbrella, a key prop from 'Seonjae Up Go Tui,' and was met with enthusiastic applause and cheers from the audience.
