During a segment where he was practicing intense acting, Ryu surprised viewers by answering a phone call in a playful tone. He expressed his happiness by saying, "Just thinking about her makes me smile," before admitting, "Oh, this is embarrassing."

His girlfriend then explained, "We happened to be in the same place. We weren't that close in our group." This group, as Ryu clarified, was a soccer club. He mentioned that he had been admiring her beauty for about three years, but she had always been in a relationship during that time.

After hearing that she had broken up, Ryu decided to reach out, saying, "I thought I should at least say something, so I texted, 'Hi, do you know who I am?'" He reflected on how he hesitated before sending the message. His girlfriend recalled, "You could tell he was really thinking about it in his text. I found it quite charming."
