Ryu Hyun-jin Hosts Charity Golf Event on 'Salim Nam'

On December 14, KBS 2TV's 'Salim Nam' (살림하는 남자들 시즌2) will showcase a meaningful day in the life of 'World Class Pitcher' Ryu Hyun-jin as he takes on the role of chairman for his foundation. After establishing the Ryu Hyun-jin Foundation last year, he has been dedicated to nurturing youth baseball players and supporting children with pediatric cancer and rare diseases through various charitable activities. Ryu is deeply involved in the foundation's operations, demonstrating his commitment and world-class spirit.

The episode will feature the foundation's inaugural charity golf tournament, aimed at raising funds through various events and auctions of memorabilia. Ryu plans to use the proceeds to help underprivileged children. The event will attract attention with a star-studded lineup of 84 participants, including legendary figures like 'Korean Express' Park Chan-ho, Woo Ji-won, and Moon Kyung-eun, alongside popular celebrities such as Son Ji-chang, Ji Jin-hee, Cha Tae-hyun, Lee Jong-hyuk, and Oh Yoon-ah. Additionally, 'Salim Nam' MC Baek Ji-young will also participate, adding significance to the event.

Ryu Hyun-jin personally reached out to each of the 84 attendees, ensuring their participation and meticulously checking their arrival status right up to the event. He is actively involved in organizing auction items, the stage setup, and the dinner menu, showcasing his passionate leadership.

Following the successful golf tournament, a memorabilia auction will take place to raise additional funds. Items up for bid include a signed baseball figurine from Park Chan-ho and a Dodgers jersey worn by Ryu himself, which are expected to create an exciting atmosphere.
