Running Man Members Win Camping Challenge in Winter Wonderland

In the latest episode of SBS's Running Man (런닝맨), which aired on December 22, 2024, Yoo Jae-suk (유재석), Ji Ye-eun (지예은), and Ji Suk-jin (지석진) found themselves victorious in a camping challenge set against the snowy backdrop of Gangwon Province.

As the members celebrated the year-end party, they were determined to avoid the camping challenge, leading to a series of playful sabotage and various missions. The ongoing battle for the 'penalty transfer rights' added an extra layer of competition, creating a tense atmosphere filled with strategic maneuvering. Yoo Jae-suk humorously questioned, "Why are you using my transfer rights?" as Yang Se-chan (양세찬) attempted to hide his stolen rights in his bag, only to be caught by Ji Suk-jin and Ha Ha (하하), resulting in laughter among the cast.

The production team then announced that there were specific missions for the confirmed camping members. Yoo Jae-suk's task was to secretly change his pants, but Ha Ha quickly figured it out. With five attempts, Yoo Jae-suk failed his first mission.

Ha Ha began to interfere with the missions of Yoo Jae-suk and Yang Se-chan, who declared, "If I get caught, I’ll use my transfer rights!" This led to a chaotic moment where Yang Se-chan vowed to break all the rules, resulting in a failed hidden mission for Yoo Jae-suk, who was ultimately caught by Yang Se-chan.

The next mission brought more laughter as Ji Suk-jin accidentally fell asleep during a break, leading to an unprecedented moment of a sleep broadcast. The production team had to explain the mission without him, even using ASMR for the first time in Running Man, which added to the humor of the situation.

In a previous episode, Ji Suk-jin had humorously predicted, while channeling 'Ji-stradamus', that if he were to sleep outside, Yoo Jae-suk would be next to him, possibly with Ji Ye-eun nearby. This prediction sparked curiosity about its potential accuracy.

Ultimately, it was not Ji Ye-eun but Song Ji-hyo (송지효) who was confirmed for the camping challenge, making Yoo Jae-suk, Ji Suk-jin, and Song Ji-hyo the final trio. Interestingly, Yang Se-chan had not used his penalty transfer rights, which he had actually passed to Song Ji-hyo. This led to Ji Ye-eun receiving the penalty rights, resulting in a humorous moment where everyone exclaimed, "It’s a Running Man initiation!"
