Roy Kim Shines in Christmas Special of BYOB

Singer-songwriter Roy Kim made a special appearance in the Christmas episode of the global K-food talk show BYOB, uploaded today (December 20) on the YouTube channel 'JohnMaat'.

The twelfth episode kicked off with Roy Kim sharing his experiences studying abroad since the age of nine. He revealed that he served as the student body president for four consecutive years and humbly mentioned his SAT score, stating, "I scored 2300 out of 2400. There are many people smarter than me."

A graduate of the prestigious Georgetown University, Roy Kim recounted how he applied to 'Superstar K4' after being accepted into college and won the competition. He noted that returning to school after his victory took him seven years to graduate due to balancing his activities, adding, "The school was free and peaceful, and I was happy throughout my time there."

Roy Kim also delivered a heartfelt live performance filled with Christmas spirit, singing his recent single '내게 사랑이 뭐냐고 물어본다면' (If You Ask Me What Love Is) and the classic carol 'Santa Claus Is Coming To Town'. The K-pocha set was adorned with falling snow, enhancing the romantic Christmas atmosphere.

In a special segment called 'Hot Challenge', the show featured a spicy challenge where if all steps were completed successfully, gifts would be given to 30 subscribers. Roy Kim impressively completed the final challenge, which involved eating the spiciest 붕어빵 (fish-shaped pastry) dipped in nuclear hot sauce, showcasing his determination and earning admiration from the production team and hosts.
