The music video for Rosé's global mega-hit 'APT.' (아파트) has officially surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube. On January 31, The Black Label announced that the duet between Rosé and Bruno Mars achieved this milestone just 105 days after its release on October 18, 2024. This accomplishment not only sets a new record for K-pop artists but also makes it the fifth fastest music video worldwide to reach 1 billion views.

'Apt.' serves as a pre-release single from Rosé's debut studio album 'rosie,' which was released on December 6, 2024. The song generated an explosive response upon its release, creating a significant cultural phenomenon. The collaboration between two global artists, Rosé and Bruno Mars, has dominated both domestic and international music charts, showcasing a remarkable integration of the global music market.

The music video for 'APT.' reached 100 million views within just five days, 300 million views in 22 days, and 500 million views in 47 days, breaking the record for the fastest K-pop solo artist to achieve these milestones in 11 years. It has consistently topped the trending music videos and songs in South Korea and even reached the number one spot on the U.S. trending charts.

After sweeping the global music scene for about three months, 'APT.' has recently shown a resurgence on global music charts. It climbed to number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart on January 28, 2025, marking a career high for Rosé, and has maintained its position at number two on the UK Official Singles Chart for five consecutive weeks.
