Rosé's 'APT.' Achieves Record High on Billboard Hot 100

Rosé (로제), a member of the iconic K-pop girl group BLACKPINK, has made history with her collaboration 'APT.' alongside American pop star Bruno Mars. The track has secured the highest position for a K-pop female artist on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, reaching number 3 as of February 8, 2025. This marks a significant achievement, as Rosé is the first K-pop female artist to break into the top 3 of the Hot 100. Previously, she maintained the number 5 spot for three consecutive weeks before climbing two places last week.

In the realm of K-pop, only a few artists have reached the top 3 of the Hot 100, including the global supergroup BTS (방탄소년단) and its members Jimin (지민) and Jungkook (정국), as well as the artist Psy (싸이), who peaked at number 2 with 'Gangnam Style.' 'APT.' has also made a remarkable 14-week run on the Billboard charts.

Additionally, 'APT.' has dominated the Billboard Global 200 (Excl. US) chart, holding the number one position for a total of 14 weeks and returning to the top after a brief hiatus, achieving 12 weeks at number one overall.

In related news, American hip-hop artist Travis Scott's new single '4x4' debuted at number one on the Hot 100 this week.
