Rosé and Bruno Mars to Perform 'APT.' at MAMA Awards

Blackpink's Rosé and pop sensation Bruno Mars are set to debut their highly anticipated performance of 'APT.' at the MAMA Awards. According to CJ ENM, the duo will showcase the song for the first time on November 22 at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan. 'APT.' serves as a pre-release track from Rosé's solo album, inspired by traditional Korean drinking games. The song features catchy repetitive lyrics and an upbeat band sound, enhanced by Bruno Mars' collaboration.

Since its release on October 18, the song and its music video have achieved remarkable success, topping real-time charts and daily rankings on major South Korean music platforms such as Melon, Genie, Bugs, and Vibe, achieving a 'Perfect All Kill' (PAK). It also reached number one on Spotify's global and U.S. charts, as well as topping iTunes charts in 40 regions, including QQ Music, China's leading music platform. Additionally, 'APT.' secured the second spot on the UK Official Singles Chart and eighth on the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S., marking significant milestones.

Bruno Mars made headlines on October 25 by expressing his excitement in Korean after winning first place on a domestic music program. Following Rosé's win on 'M Countdown,' she congratulated him with a message saying, "You did it!" In response, Bruno Mars shared his gratitude on his Instagram story in Korean, stating, "Thank you so much, Korean fans. I cried all morning after winning first place. I’m very grateful to Rosé for helping us achieve this, and I hope you all love 'APT.'"

The MAMA Awards will kick off on November 22 at 12 PM PST at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, featuring performances by Anderson .Paak, Ailee, Park Jin-young, and RISE. The MAMA Awards Japan will take place at the Kyocera Dome Osaka, with events scheduled for November 22 at 4 PM and November 23 at 1 PM. The first day will feature performances by IVE, Tomorrow X Together, and ENHYPEN, while the second day will showcase G-Dragon, aespa, and (G)I-DLE.
