Rosé and Bruno Mars Shine at 2024 MAMA Awards with 'APT.' Performance
Rosé has made waves by debuting her global hit song 'APT.' (아파트) on stage for the first time. The performance took place on November 22 at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan, during the '2024 MAMA AWARDS' (2024 마마). Rosé shared the stage with Bruno Mars, and together they captivated audiences worldwide, even winning the 'Global Sensation' award and lifting the trophy together.
After receiving the award, Rosé expressed her gratitude, saying, "I wrote 'APT.' inspired by a game I really love, and I never expected it to receive such immense love. I want to thank everyone for their support and also say thank you to Bruno." Bruno Mars, who joined her on stage, playfully responded in Korean with a cheerful "감사합니다" (thank you), which drew enthusiastic cheers from the crowd.
Following the award ceremony, the duo's performance of 'APT.' was unveiled, capturing everyone's attention. Both artists donned loose-fitting suits and delivered an engaging performance using stand microphones, accompanied by a live band. Set to be released on December 6, 2024, Rosé's first full-length album 'rosie' will consist of 12 tracks, with Rosé participating in writing and composing all the songs, promising to share her most honest and intimate stories.
