Rosé Achieves Historic Billboard Success with 'rosie'

Rosé continues to break records with her unstoppable success. On December 16, Billboard announced that her debut studio album, 'rosie', debuted at number 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. This marks the highest position ever achieved by a K-pop female artist. Following the global success of her mega-hit single 'APT.', Rosé has now conquered both the music and album charts with 'rosie'. Notably, she has become the first and only K-pop female artist to enter both the Billboard HOT 100 and Billboard 200 charts within the top ten.
Released on December 6, 'rosie' features a total of 12 tracks, including the pre-released singles 'APT.' and 'number one girl', which were unveiled in October and November. Rosé was actively involved in writing and composing all the songs on the album, sharing her candid and personal stories.
Additionally, the music video for her new song 'toxic till the end' was released on the same day as the album. In the video, Rosé showcases her acting skills alongside actor and model Evan Mock, captivating K-pop fans with their on-screen romance. The stunning visuals and the narrative reflecting the emotional toll of a toxic relationship have sparked significant interest.
Since its release, 'rosie' has garnered love from listeners not only in South Korea and Asia but around the globe. The new track 'toxic till the end' has climbed to the top of domestic music charts, continuing the 'APT.' phenomenon. On the day of its release, the album also reached number one on the daily album chart of QQ Music, China's largest music streaming platform, proving its popularity among Chinese fans.
