Kakao Entertainment's 'it' rookie actors are ready to captivate audiences on both television and film screens in the latter half of 2024. These talented individuals, who possess both acting skills and buzzworthy appeal, are making waves across various genres in the content market.
Choo Young-woo (추영우) has already made a significant impact this year, starring in four dramas. His role as the high school student Baek Kyun-woo in tvN's 'The Tale of Nokdu' (견우와 선녀) has been particularly praised, showcasing his ability to convey a complex emotional range between cynicism and warmth. Following his success, he will embark on an Asia fan meeting tour in September to connect with his global fanbase.
Shin Seung-ho (신승호) has also proven his strong presence in the film 'The Universal Reader' (전지적 독자 시점), where he played the character Lee Hyun-seong, a symbol of strength and defense, contributing to the film's impressive box office success of over 6 million viewers. He is set to take on a bold transformation in 'Only God Knows Everything' (온리 갓 노우즈 에브리띵), a role that has already earned him multiple Best Actor awards at international film festivals.
Joo Jong-hyuk (주종혁) is gearing up to dominate the small screen with two upcoming projects: TV Chosun and Coupang Play's 'Confidence Man KR' and Disney+'s 'Polaris' in September.
