Rising Star Choi Min-ho Cast in Web Drama 'Something Went Wrong'

Newcomer actor Choi Min-ho has been cast in the web drama '무언가 잘못되었다' (Something Went Wrong), set to premiere on April 16. He will portray the lead character, Do Ba-woo, in this romantic story about two young people trying to reconnect their long-misaligned feelings. The series is a spin-off featuring Do Ba-woo and Ji-hoon, characters from the webtoon '인기는 무언가 잘못되었다' (Popularity: Something Went Wrong).
In 'Something Went Wrong', Choi Min-ho plays a first-year student majoring in Political Science and Diplomacy, who has been in love with his childhood friend Ji-hoon since kindergarten. His character's emotional journey and complex feelings will be depicted with nuanced performances, promising to deliver high engagement and entertainment.
Choi Min-ho gained attention last year after appearing on the ENA variety show '하입보이스카웃' (High Voice Scout), where he was recognized as a promising new actor picked by comedian Lee Kyung-kyu. His striking visuals and charming personality left a lasting impression on viewers, generating a positive response.
