Red Velvet's Irene Surpasses 250,000 Sales on First Day of Solo Album Release

Irene of Red Velvet (레드벨벳) has made a remarkable debut as a solo artist with the release of her first mini-album, ‘Like A Flower’ (라이크 어 플라워). Released on November 26, the album achieved over 250,000 sales on the first day alone, according to the Hanteo Chart, and also secured the top spot on the Circle Chart's daily retail album chart, showcasing the immense anticipation from music fans for her solo debut.

The album has not only topped the iTunes Top Albums chart in 21 regions worldwide, including New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Finland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Brazil, Egypt, Oman, Chile, Guatemala, Brunei, El Salvador, Paraguay, Turkey, and Cambodia, but it also reached number one on QQ Music's digital album sales chart in China. Additionally, tracks from the album have ranked in the top three of the real-time rising chart on Japan's AWA, further confirming Irene's strong global influence.

‘Like A Flower’ features a total of eight tracks, including the title track of the same name, which is characterized by its captivating and addictive melody. The title track is a pop dance song infused with bright and lively Afro rhythms, complemented by soft and dreamy sounds.
