Rain (비) Pays Tribute to Late Actress Seo Hee-won During Taiwan Concert

On February 15, 2025, singer and actor Rain (정지훈) held a concert in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, as part of his 'Still Rainin' Asia Tour.' During the event, he took a moment to honor the late actress Seo Hee-won, who recently passed away. Rain expressed his condolences, stating, 'We are all saddened by the pain of my beloved senior, Gu Jun-yeob. The deceased was my sister-in-law.' He requested a 10-second moment of silence for her. Rain also urged fans to support Gu Jun-yeob, calling him an exemplary senior and a kind-hearted person. Seo Hee-won tragically died from pneumonia caused by the flu while on a family trip to Japan on February 2, 2025. Her passing shocked many, especially as it came just three years after her marriage to Gu Jun-yeob. The couple's love story, which captivated audiences after their reunion, was well-known, as they had previously dated in 1998 before parting ways. After a brief marriage to businessman Wang So-bi, Seo and Gu reconnected and married in 2022.
