Producers Na Young-seok and Shin Won-ho to Make Cameo Appearance in 'Unslzun'

Producers Na Young-seok (나영석) and Shin Won-ho (신원호) are set to make surprise cameo appearances in the upcoming episode of tvN's weekend drama 'Unslzun' (언젠가는 슬기로울 전공의생활). According to reports on May 8, the duo will join the cast in this week's broadcast.

'Unslzun', produced by Egg Is Coming, is a spin-off of the popular series 'Hospital Playlist' (슬기로운 의사생활), focusing on the growth of residents as they navigate their early careers in medicine.

Since its premiere on April 12, 'Unslzun' has garnered attention for featuring various special cameos. Notably, actress Ra Mi-ran (라미란) made a surprise appearance as a bank employee in the first episode, while characters from the original 'Hospital Playlist' series, including Ahn Eun-jin (안은진), Moon Tae-yu (문태유), and others, have returned to share untold stories, delighting fans.

During the production press conference, Shin Won-ho hinted at the participation of '99z' members Jo Jung-seok (조정석), Kim Dae-myung (김대명), and Jeon Mi-do (전미도). Recently, it was also announced that Tomorrow X Together members Soobin (수빈) and Yeonjun (연준) will appear as former idol colleagues of Um Jae-il (엄재일), played by Kang Yoo-seok (강유석).

Now, with Na Young-seok and Shin Won-ho joining the cameo lineup, viewers are eager to see how their appearances will enhance the drama's entertainment value. Shin Won-ho, who is also the creator of 'Unslzun' and directed the original 'Hospital Playlist' series, is expected to bring a unique flair to his role.

Notably, Na Young-seok and Shin Won-ho have been friends since they both joined KBS in 2001 and have worked together at Egg Is Coming for over 20 years. Previously, Shin Won-ho featured Na Young-seok in 'Reply 1994' and 'Hospital Playlist Season 2', showcasing their close friendship through cameo roles.

As for their characters in 'Unslzun', details remain under wraps, but anticipation is high for their comedic performances.

'Unslzun' airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:20 PM. According to Good Data Corporation, the drama has ranked first in TV-OTT drama buzz for three consecutive weeks, with the latest episode achieving an average rating of 6.4% in the metropolitan area and 6% nationwide, setting new records for the series.
