President Yoon Declares Martial Law to Eliminate Anti-State Forces

President Yoon (윤 대통령) stated that the National Assembly (국회), which should serve as the foundation of democracy, has transformed into a monster dismantling the liberal democratic system. He emphasized that South Korea (대한민국) is now in such a precarious state that an immediate collapse would not be surprising.

He declared, "Fellow citizens, to protect our free Republic of Korea (대한민국) from the threats of North Korean (북한) communist forces and to eradicate in one sweep the shameless pro-North anti-state elements that plunder our people's freedom and happiness, I hereby proclaim martial law to safeguard the liberal constitutional order."

He further asserted, "I will undoubtedly root out the anti-state ringleaders and forces who have continuously engaged in malicious acts," adding that "this is an unavoidable declaration aimed at guaranteeing the people's freedom, safety, and sustainability from the agitation of anti-state forces seeking to overthrow our system, and to pass down a proper nation to future generations."
