Popup Store for 'I'm Sorry, I Love You 2024' Opens with Stunning Media Facade

CreativeMUT has launched a popup store for '[Director's Cut] I'm Sorry, I Love You 2024' as part of the Wavve New Classic Project Part 2, inviting the public into the world of New Classic. The iconic visuals and music of 'I'm Sorry, I Love You' (미안하다, 사랑한다), a hallmark of winter, will blend seamlessly with the festive atmosphere of The Hyundai Seoul, enriching the overall theme of the space.

From November 22 to December 5, the popup store will be located on the 6th floor of The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido, operated by CreativeMUT in collaboration with the OTT service Wavve. The New Classic Project aims to reimagine masterpieces from the 2000s, preserving the original quality while reflecting current viewing trends, with 'I'm Sorry, I Love You' being the first release of this second phase. The six-part OTT series will be available on Wavve starting November 22.

To enhance the event's appeal, CreativeMUT has installed a massive media facade on the 7th floor of The Hyundai Seoul. This impressive 40m by 6m display will showcase Christmas-themed videos created using generative AI technology, promising to deliver a mesmerizing experience akin to a Christmas gift for visitors.

Additionally, the popup will feature the newly remade OST 'Snow Flower' (눈의 꽃), performed by NCT's Doyoung, further captivating attendees. These videos will be available for viewing until November 24.

The TUNE store on the 6th floor will host the 'I'm Sorry, I Love You' popup, designed with classic items like analog TVs to evoke a Y2K aesthetic. A retro photo zone reminiscent of an Australian alley, a significant backdrop in the series, will transport visitors back to 2004 when the show originally aired.

Moreover, a photo wall utilizing next-generation hologram technology, known as Holopotation, will provide an unforgettable experience. Visitors can take holographic photos against the New Classic Project theme and download their images via QR codes. A CD listening zone for the OST 'Snow Flower' will also be available, creating a nostalgic atmosphere for those familiar with the series while offering newcomers a fresh experience.

The popup store will also feature a lucky draw for visitors who post about their experience on social media with designated hashtags. Prizes include 'New Classic Project' merchandise, plush dolls of the characters Mu-hyeok and Eun-chae, Wavve subscription vouchers, and Melon subscription vouchers for enjoying the OST, generating excitement among fans.
