Popular Health YouTuber Park Seung-hyun Passes Away at 34
Park Seung-hyun, a well-known health YouTuber and bodybuilder with over 830,000 subscribers, has tragically passed away at the age of 34. His brother announced the news on January 6, revealing that Park succumbed to health issues on January 5 at 3:51 PM. The family has requested privacy during this difficult time, stating that they will not be receiving visitors at the funeral home and asking for prayers for the deceased's soul.
Park was active on his channel just five days prior to his death, making the news even more shocking for his fans. In 2019, he gained attention for exposing the rampant steroid abuse in the bodybuilding community and admitted to his own struggles with substance misuse. He voluntarily reported his illegal drug use and distribution, leading to a suspended indictment in November 2019.
Additionally, Park was involved in the 'Drug Fight' movement, which aimed to raise awareness about illegal drug use in the fitness industry. Recently, he had also opened up about his battle with depression, expressing feelings of loneliness and a desire for love and connection on his social media. He shared, "I feel so lonely. I want someone to fill me up and for me to fill someone else. I’m just being honest about my feelings. I will find love because it is everything to me, the reason and purpose for living."
