Paul Kim Shares His Love for His Wife on 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2'

Singer Paul Kim, who has transitioned from being known as the 'boyfriend of your ears' to the 'husband of your ears,' expressed his affection for his wife during an appearance on the SBS TV couple's variety show Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 (동상이몽2-너는 내 운명) airing on January 20 at 10:10 PM.

During the show, Paul Kim revealed that he has been married for nine months, surprising the MCs who were unaware of his marriage. He explained, 'Since we didn't have a wedding ceremony, I often forget that I'm married.'

Paul Kim shared that he met his wife through a blind date and they had a long-term relationship. He elaborated on their decision not to hold a wedding, saying, 'Planning a wedding requires a lot of preparation. I suggested to my wife that since it’s our marriage, we should focus on each other, and she readily agreed.'

Interestingly, Paul Kim mentioned that he and his wife even bought a wedding dress together and took photos. This led MC Kim Gura to joke, 'This is something usually done by remarried couples,' as he himself is remarried.

Additionally, Paul Kim discussed his thoughts on revealing his wife to the public, stating, 'Unless there’s a special reason, I don’t plan to disclose her.' MC Kim Sook pressed him, suggesting that his appearance on Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 might be a precursor to future public appearances. When Paul Kim mentioned that his mother-in-law enjoys the show, MC Seo Jang-hoon confidently remarked, 'This means they’ll appear in a year.' MC Lee Ji-hye even suggested that they could bring his mother-in-law on the show first as a strategy to ease into it.
