Park Soo-jin, who has been out of the public eye for some time, was recently seen in a Pilates studio, thanks to a post by her close friend Kim Sung-eun on social media. This has sparked speculation among fans that she might be back in Korea. In the Instagram story shared on July 24, Kim referred to Park as her 'workout mate' and shared a photo of her looking fit and youthful in a black workout outfit, reminiscent of her idol days. Fans, who previously thought she was living in Hawaii, expressed their excitement in the comments, saying things like 'It would be great if she's in Korea,' 'I want to see her again,' and 'Please come back.' This interest comes after rumors of her retirement surfaced.

Park Soo-jin married actor Bae Yong-joon in 2015 and they have two children together. However, her career took a hit in 2017 when she was involved in a controversy regarding preferential treatment in a neonatal intensive care unit during the birth of her first child, leading her to step back from the entertainment industry. At that time, she issued a handwritten apology, stating that her judgment had been clouded and denying rumors about the incubator order. Following this, the couple moved to Hawaii for their children's education and largely disappeared from the public eye.

Bae Yong-joon also stepped back from his career after selling his shares in KeyEast to SM Entertainment in 2018, and by 2022, his official website was taken down, marking what many called a 'graceful exit.' Recently, it was revealed that the couple donated a significant amount to a prestigious private school in Hawaii, estimated between 14.4 million to 36 million won, and they made headlines last December for donating 3 billion won to Yonsei Medical Center, showcasing their philanthropic efforts.
