Park Soo-hong Expresses Overwhelming Gratitude at the 2024 KBS Entertainment Awards

At the 2024 KBS Entertainment Awards held on December 21, comedian Park Soo-hong shared his heartfelt acceptance speech after winning the Excellence Award in the Reality category alongside Jeong Ji-sun. He expressed his gratitude, stating, "Thank you. I've hosted many award ceremonies, but it's been six years since I last stood on stage after presenting at the 2018 Acting Awards." Park Soo-hong reflected on his 34-year career in comedy, noting, "I've never been lucky with awards, so this is my first time receiving such recognition." He humorously added that he had to leave after the first part of the ceremony due to parenting duties, but the writers insisted he stay.

He also shared a personal anecdote, saying, "My daughter Jae-i has had two golden poops, which matched the color of the award. I am incredibly grateful to the Superman Returns (슈퍼맨이 돌아왔다) team and the production staff; I will never forget this moment." Park Soo-hong concluded his speech by expressing his love and gratitude to his beloved cat Da-hong, his daughter Jae-i, his mother-in-law who helps with childcare, and especially his wife Kim Da-ye, who encouraged him to do well today.
