Park Soo-hong Encourages Wife Kim Da-ye to Wean Their Daughter on 'The Return of Superman'

In the latest episode of KBS 2TV's variety show The Return of Superman (슈퍼맨이 돌아왔다), aired on February 12, 2025, Park Soo-hong shared a heartfelt moment regarding his wife Kim Da-ye and their daughter Jae-i, who recently celebrated her 100th day. During the episode titled 'Congratulations, Love, and Togetherness,' the couple prepared a traditional 100-day celebration for their daughter. Park Soo-hong joyfully announced, 'Jae-i has turned 100 days old,' noting how she has grown and is now able to interact with their pet cat, Da-hong.

As they decorated the celebration table, a playful atmosphere emerged between the couple, prompting co-host Ahn Young-mi to joke, 'At this rate, you might have a second child soon. It’s great, you’re still in your honeymoon phase.' However, Park Soo-hong humorously remarked about their close proximity, saying, 'How can our bellies touch? There’s so much space, why can’t we move? We haven’t even eaten yet!'

After setting up the celebration, the couple made rice cakes together. During this time, Kim Da-ye expressed her confusion, saying, 'Yesterday, you told me to wean Jae-i since she’s 100 days old, but why do you keep telling me not to breastfeed?' In the studio, Park Soo-hong explained, 'Kim Da-ye's inflammation levels are 20 times higher than normal. She was hospitalized for treatment and underwent major surgery. I suggested weaning for her health, but she insists on continuing breastfeeding for Jae-i’s sake until she’s ready. She is still receiving immunotherapy.'
