Park Si-eun Overcomes Heartbreak After Losing Baby

Actress Park Si-eun has shared her journey of healing after experiencing the profound loss of her baby just weeks before the due date. In a recent video uploaded on December 13 to the CBS YouTube channel 'Sebasi Lecture,' titled 'Hello 2025: A New Beginning - Special Lecture in Goyang City,' she opened up about the painful experience she faced two years ago.

Park revealed, "I had to send my baby to heaven while I was at full term. At that moment, I was engulfed in shock and deep sorrow." She emphasized that her husband, Jin Tae-hyun, was also deeply affected by the tragedy but focused on supporting her during that difficult time. "He was going through a tough time himself, yet he was solely concerned about me. I can never forget the look in his eyes and his expression," she said.

Quoting a saying, she noted that happiness multiplies when shared, while sorrow is halved when shared. Park expressed gratitude towards Jin Tae-hyun, stating, "We were able to share our sadness and rise together."

The couple made a conscious decision not to blame anyone for their loss. "It's easy to feel resentment, but it doesn't change anything. I chose not to blame myself either. The nine months I spent with my baby were truly happy," she added.

In 2022, Park Si-eun's pregnancy ended in miscarriage just 20 days before her expected delivery date, which brought widespread sympathy from fans and the public.
