Park Seong-hoon Shares Behind-the-Scenes of Death Scenes in 'Squid Game Season 3' and 'Queen of Tears'

Actor Park Seong-hoon has recently drawn attention by revealing behind-the-scenes details of his death scenes in two different projects. In a YouTube video released on July 1 by Netflix Korea, titled 'Highlights Reaction of the Hide-and-Seek Scene That Makes You Want to Grab Myung-ki's Collar(?),' Park joined fellow actors Im Si-wan, Jo Yu-ri, and Kang Ae-sim to discuss key moments from 'Squid Game Season 3.' Notably, Park's character, Hyun-joo, who is participant number 120, has a pivotal death scene that was highlighted during the discussion.
Recalling the moment he was stabbed by Myung-ki (played by Im Si-wan), Park shared, "The director asked me to shed a tear or two, and it just came out in one go." He humorously added that he still doesn't know what the scenery outside the set looked like, as he only saw a wall.
What made this revelation even more intriguing was that the day he filmed his death scene for 'Squid Game' was also the same day he shot the death scene for his character, Yoo Eun-sung, in another project, 'Queen of Tears.' Park explained, "I filmed the death scene for 'Squid Game' at a studio in Daejeon, and on the same day, I also filmed the death scene for 'Queen of Tears,' which was released on Netflix. It was a day filled with a lot of emotional exhaustion from both sides," he confessed, showcasing his remarkable focus and dedication in both roles.
