Park Seo-jin's Sister Opens Up About Emotional Struggles
On the April 5 episode of KBS2TV's 'Salim Namja-deul Season 2' (살림하는 남자들 시즌2), Park Seo-jin's sister, Park Hyo-jung, shared her emotional struggles. During the show, she revealed that she had experienced a troubling incident in Samcheok, which left her visibly upset. When Park Seo-jin inquired about her distress, she remained silent, leading to a heated argument between the siblings.
Park Seo-jin expressed, "Honestly, as a singer, I'm used to facing the public and hearing negative comments. However, my family is not accustomed to this. They have started interacting with strangers because of me, and while I appreciate the love our family receives, I sometimes feel guilty seeing them struggle because of my career."
He reflected on his reaction, saying, "I think I complicated things further by getting angry instead of calming down and listening to her concerns. I wonder why I can’t express myself better."
MC Baek Ji-young noted that being part of a celebrity family comes with unrecognized challenges, advising Park Seo-jin not to be too hard on himself, as his presence also brings happiness to their lives.
In an interview with the production team, Park Hyo-jung opened up about her experiences, stating, "I’ve been facing increasingly difficult situations. Some fans greet me enthusiastically, but there are instances of inappropriate physical contact, like touching or pinching, which have hurt me deeply and made me cry."
Park Seo-jin added, "I’ve heard that some people have used extremely vulgar language towards her." This prompted a furious response from MC Lee Ji-hoon, who emphasized that adults should set a good example and behave appropriately.
