The latest episode of KBS 2TV's Salim Nam (살림하는 남자들 시즌2) aired on December 14, showcasing the daily lives of singer Park Seo-jin (박서진) and baseball player Ryu Hyun-jin (류현진). The episode achieved a nationwide rating of 5.6% according to Nielsen Korea, with a peak viewership of 7.9% during a segment where Park Seo-jin improvised lyrics using a fan's name, marking the show as the top-rated weekend variety program for two consecutive weeks. The 2049 demographic ratings also saw an increase, highlighting the show's popularity.

In the opening segment, guest singer Kwon Eun-bi (권은비) discussed her recent success at the Waterbomb music festival, which garnered 6.25 million views online. She mentioned, "After that performance, I attended many festivals and shot numerous advertisements. My fortune-teller said that having earth and wood in my fortune means water is beneficial, so I think the Waterbomb event suited me well."

Kwon Eun-bi also shared that her song 'Underwater (언더워터)' has been gaining popularity, joking, "My CEO started raising fish after Waterbomb, and suddenly there’s an aquarium!" She expressed her desire to appear on Salim Nam, stating, "If given the chance, I would love to. I’m better at household tasks than people think."

Meanwhile, Park Seo-jin spent quality time with his family before his concert. His mother prepared good luck charms to ensure the concert's success, including secretly placing red beans around him, which led to a humorous outburst from Park Seo-jin. The episode revealed a past incident where both of his parents nearly faced a serious accident on the day of his first concert.

On the day of the concert, Park Seo-jin's father donned a wig to support his son, while Lee Min-woo's (이민우) mother brought a lunchbox as a gift. She even set up a celebratory table with traditional brassware and personally fed Park Seo-jin.

As the concert commenced, Park Seo-jin made a grand entrance with traditional drums, delivering an electrifying performance that included perfectly executed Michael Jackson choreography. He also sang 'Let It Be' by The Beatles, which he practiced with an English tutor, and performed 'Byeol-a Byeol-a' in memory of his late brothers, moving his father to tears.

Ryu Hyun-jin introduced his charitable foundation, the Ryu Hyun-jin Foundation, which focuses on nurturing youth baseball players and supporting children with rare diseases. The foundation held its first charity event, a golf tournament, attended by celebrities like Ji Jin-hee (지진희), Park Chan-ho (박찬호), Cha Tae-hyun (차태현), and Baek Ji-young (백지영).

Known for his hands-on approach, Ryu Hyun-jin personally contacted all 84 legendary stars to invite them to the event. He meticulously planned the dinner menu, ensuring every detail, including the steak preparation, was perfect, showcasing his dedication to hospitality.

The charity event concluded successfully with all 84 attendees present, achieving Ryu Hyun-jin's goals of providing excellent food and conducting a smooth press conference. The golf tournament also went off without a hitch, culminating in a charity auction for donated items. Baek Ji-young and Park Chan-ho competed for Ryu Hyun-jin's jersey, which ultimately sold for 21 million won to another participant.
