Park Seo-jin Addresses Marriage Rumors with Hong Ji-yoon
On June 7, during an episode of KBS2's 'Salim Namja-deul 2' (살림하는 남자들2), singer Park Seo-jin (박서진) clarified rumors regarding his supposed marriage to Hong Ji-yoon (홍지윤). In the episode, Park Seo-jin was seen visiting Kim Sang-hyuk's (김상혁) home, carrying a bouquet and a large gift box, which he revealed was for Kim Sang-hyuk's mother.
Kim Sang-hyuk explained, 'We have become close, and my mother really likes him, so I invited him over.' Upon Park Seo-jin's arrival, Kim Sang-hyuk's mother expressed her affection by saying, 'Come sit next to me.' Despite Kim Sang-hyuk's playful warning that his mother might make Park Seo-jin uncomfortable, she insisted on sitting closely, saying, 'It's hard to meet, so we should stick together.'
Park Seo-jin requested a photo, saying, 'Can we take a picture? I want to show off, so please take a nice one.' Kim Sang-hyuk teased him, asking why he was smiling so much and jokingly told him to smile for the camera. He also mentioned that he plays Park Seo-jin's songs all day, to which Kim Sang-hyuk's mother reminisced about her youth, recalling her own dreams of becoming a celebrity.
In a sweet moment, Park Seo-jin performed an impromptu live song for her and even signed an autograph. Kim Sang-hyuk's mother affectionately called him 'Prince Seo-jin,' which made Kim Sang-hyuk envious, as he remarked, 'I've never been called a prince in my life.' She emphasized that she rarely uses such terms, saying, 'I don't even call my grandchildren that. It must mean a lot to me.'
The conversation then shifted to the marriage rumors with Hong Ji-yoon, with Kim Sang-hyuk expressing surprise that they had even been searched online. Park Seo-jin firmly stated, 'I am just friends with Hong Ji-yoon. There is absolutely no way we are getting married.' Kim Sang-hyuk added, 'Seo-jin is a lifelong single,' to which Park Seo-jin humorously replied, 'I've never even held hands with anyone.' He then jokingly asked if he had held hands with Hong Ji-yoon, leading to laughter when a quote from Park Seo-jin's father about relationships was played back.
