Park Na-rae Talks Pregnancy Rumors on MBC's Radio Star
On the February 12 episode of MBC's Radio Star (라디오스타), which marked its 901st episode with the theme 'Old View, New View', comedian Park Na-rae (박나래) opened up about recent pregnancy rumors. She shared a heartfelt story about her late grandfather, who passed away two years ago, and how he played a fatherly role in her life after her own father passed away early. Park mentioned that she and her friends, Do-yeon (도연) and Ki-ru (기루), often visited her grandfather's home to keep him company.
Park humorously recounted how Do-yeon rushed to Mokpo to support her during this time, consuming 20 bottles of beer in one sitting, which left him with a face resembling a beer bottle. She expressed her gratitude towards both Do-yeon and Ki-ru, recalling how her grandfather affectionately referred to Ki-ru as 'the leader' and how Ki-ru once joked about the size of the living room.
In a touching moment, Park shared that when her grandfather was hospitalized, Ki-ru had planned to celebrate his discharge with some makgeolli (막걸리), but sadly, he passed away before that could happen. Ki-ru had ordered a large container of makgeolli to honor him, which was later shared with the guests at the funeral.
Shifting to the topic of pregnancy rumors, Park revealed that a tarot card reader, Yoon Ga-i (윤가이), who appeared on the show 'I Live Alone' (나 혼자 산다), predicted that she would have good fortune regarding pregnancy this January. This led to laughter when Code Kunst (코드쿤스트) chimed in, suggesting that it was possible to have a child without a father.
Park also mentioned that she and Do-yeon often discuss marriage, acknowledging that it's about time for them to consider it. She joked about her ongoing romantic flings, prompting Kim Gu-ra (김구라) to ask how many of those were serious. Park quipped that if someone calls her around 11 PM, it might be a sign of a romantic interest, to which Code Kunst humorously suggested that it should be after midnight for it to count as a serious connection.
