Park Na-rae Recovers Stolen Goods After Home Burglary

Comedian Park Na-rae recently revealed that she has successfully retrieved valuable items worth millions of won that were stolen from her home. In a video uploaded on her YouTube channel '나래식' (Narae's Kitchen) on May 7, she discussed the incident with fellow actress Jo Bo-ah.
On May 8, Park Na-rae experienced a shocking burglary at her residence, where items valued at several tens of millions of won went missing. She had purchased her house in Yongsan, Seoul, for 5.5 billion won in 2021 and had previously showcased it on MBC's '나 혼자 산다' (I Live Alone). After discovering the theft on May 7, she was visibly shaken and canceled her scheduled appearance on MBC's '손태진의 트로트 라디오' (Son Tae-jin's Trot Radio). Initially, there were no signs of forced entry, leading to suspicions that the crime was committed by someone familiar with her home. Eventually, police identified a man in his 30s with a criminal record as the perpetrator.
During the YouTube segment, Jo Bo-ah asked if the situation had been resolved, to which Park Na-rae confirmed, "I got all my things back last week." Jo Bo-ah expressed relief that the items hadn't been sold, but Park Na-rae clarified, "Actually, they were sold, but surprisingly, they were returned to me quickly."
Park Na-rae shared that she was preparing for a wedding shoot with her friends for fellow comedian Kim Ji-min, who is set to marry Kim Jun-ho in July. She wanted to wear her most expensive handbag for the occasion but discovered it was missing just as she was about to take it out. "I thought, 'Where is it?' and that’s when my mental state started to decline," she recalled.
She mentioned a persistent friend who suggested that the bag had likely been sold at a second-hand luxury shop. This friend spent the night searching online and found a listing that matched the color and model of her bag. Following this lead, Park Na-rae reported the theft to the police, which subsequently led to media coverage of the incident.
Feeling guilty for not being able to meet her friends for the wedding shoot, she explained that she couldn't provide details about the situation as news articles continued to circulate. Jo Bo-ah admitted she was unaware of the incident and had reached out to Park Na-rae about their meeting, only to find her name plastered across the internet. "I felt bad for casually asking her to meet while she was dealing with this. I'm glad we can laugh about it now," she said.
Park Na-rae added, "I was thinking I should tell you about this when we meet," indicating her desire to share her experience with friends.
