Following the investigation, authorities identified and apprehended the suspect, with a warrant for their arrest already issued.

The incident sparked concerns over privacy invasion and left many fans disheartened. Rumors circulated suggesting that the crime might have been an inside job, with false claims pointing to fellow comedian Jang Do-yeon as the culprit. Park Na-rae's team firmly denied these allegations, stating, "While some speculated about the possibility of an insider's involvement, we clarify that this is not true.
