Park Myung-soo Returns to MBC's 'How Do You Play?' Special

On July 12, 2025, MBC's 'How Do You Play?' aired a special episode titled 'What Do You Want to Do with Myung-soo?' featuring the return of comedian Park Myung-soo, a founding member of the show's predecessor, 'Infinite Challenge.' Host Yoo Jae-suk welcomed Park back after a seven-year hiatus, humorously stating, "This is the end for me, and I will create my last work with you."
In his opening remarks, Park greeted viewers, saying, "Hello, everyone. I am an MBC veteran comedian, back after seven years. Yoo Jae-suk is now at his last stage. I will do my best to stand tall again. I missed you all."
When asked how he had been, Park replied, "I’m right next to you. I’ve been living alone, struggling and feeling lonely. Yoo Jae-suk has abandoned me, and I’ve been barely holding on. But I will rise again. I missed you all."
Yoo Jae-suk jokingly inquired if Park had been working under Jeon Hyun-moo, to which Park quipped, "That’s a story made up by Haha. All of Haha's songs are plagiarized." However, when asked if he was a butler for idols, he confirmed, "That’s true. I am the butler for Winter and Jisoo."
Park Myung-soo greeted the audience with his signature 'jjo jjo' dance, expressing his delight that the 'Infinite Challenge' staff were still around, stating, "I don’t need anyone else; as long as Yoo Jae-suk is here, that’s all that matters." Fellow 'Infinite Challenge' alumni, Joo Woo-jae and Lee Yi-kyung, warmly welcomed him back.
Yoo Jae-suk apologized for a past incident when Park had come to help him during the early days of 'How Do You Play?' He reflected, "I felt bad after the broadcast. I jokingly suggested we work together, but it seemed like I was intruding." Park acknowledged, "It was indeed an intrusion."
The episode featured a relay bingo game among the five male cast members. Park remarked, "Being here feels like filming 'Infinite Challenge.' It’s my first outdoor shoot in seven years. I don’t know why I didn’t work harder back then," showing a renewed passion for the show. He reminisced about the camaraderie, saying, "I miss those times when we were tightly knit, even if I wasn’t part of it. We were funny even while fighting."
Yoo Jae-suk recalled a time during an aerobics special when Park had thrown a CD in frustration. He reflected, "I understand now that it was tough for him. After getting married, I realized how he felt. With age, I can empathize."
Park also apologized for his past behavior, admitting he was mentally struggling at the time. He shared a light-hearted moment from the recording, revealing that he often passed gas, but Yoo Jae-suk never got angry about it.
The five members successfully completed their mission together. In the closing segment, Park expressed his joy at working with close colleagues and hinted at wanting a permanent role, but the response from the members and staff was lukewarm.
He then declared, "This is my last work. I won’t be working with Yoo Jae-suk anymore," and left the set coolly. The other members finished the recording nonchalantly, while the production team teased viewers with a caption suggesting his return might be possible.
