Park Ji-yoon and Choi Dong-seok's Legal Battle Continues with Third Hearing

The third hearing in the ongoing legal dispute between broadcaster Park Ji-yoon (박지윤) and Choi Dong-seok (최동석) is set to take place today, March 25, at the Jeju District Court. This session was originally scheduled for January 7 but was postponed. The hearing is part of a lawsuit filed by Park Ji-yoon against Choi Dong-seok's acquaintance for damages related to alleged infidelity. The first hearing occurred on August 27, and Choi Dong-seok has also filed a counter-suit against Park Ji-yoon's friend, denying all allegations from both sides. Recent revelations from Dispatch, including messages and recordings between the couple, suggest ongoing disputes over relationship issues. Park Ji-yoon claims that Choi Dong-seok's unfounded suspicions of infidelity have affected her business, while Choi Dong-seok accuses her of emotional infidelity. Amid the controversy, Choi Dong-seok has decided to step down from his role on TV Chosun's 'Now I'm Alone' (이제 혼자다), stating that he communicated his intention to the production team. The couple, who married in 2009 and have two children, announced their separation last year and are currently in the process of divorce, having submitted a divorce mediation application to the Jeju District Court on October 30, 2024.
