On July 1, figure skating champion Kim Yuna (김연아) shared a heartfelt post on her social media, featuring a photo from her recent trip to Paris with her husband, Go Woo-rim (고우림), captioned "Couple Goals" (까죽커플). While the couple appeared affectionate in the picture, they were met with a barrage of disrespectful comments from netizens. 

Since their marriage, Kim Yuna has faced persistent rumors and divorce speculation but had largely remained silent on the matter. However, she decided to speak out this time, stating, "I believe I have been patient enough. I would appreciate it if you could refrain from leaving comments that are not directed at either of us." 

Despite her plea, the inappropriate comments continued, prompting her to revise her post with a clearer warning: "I no longer want to see the crossing of lines with disrespectful and mocking comments that have persisted for three years." This statement revealed her long-held frustration. 

Kim Yuna and Go Woo-rim tied the knot in 2022, and Go Woo-rim recently completed his military service in May. The couple has been openly displaying their love during their time in Paris, but the excessive negativity from some online users has tested Kim Yuna's patience. 

In a recent appearance on MBC's Radio Star (라디오스타), Go Woo-rim shared the story of how he proposed at the age of 24, mentioning that Kim Yuna never expected to marry someone younger. He expressed his initial concerns about their five-year age gap, but noted that his mature voice helped him win her over.
