Park Bo-young Praises Director Kim Hee-won for His Attention to Detail in 'Lighting Store'

As the highly anticipated Disney+ series '조명가게' (Lighting Store) prepares for its premiere on December 4, actress Park Bo-young has expressed her admiration for director Kim Hee-won's meticulous approach. During a press conference held on December 3 at the COEX Convention Center in Gangnam, Seoul, Park highlighted Kim's dedication, stating, "The director personally checked our movements as actors and adjusted any discomfort in our performances. I was truly touched by his attentiveness, as he would call me after each shoot to ask for my thoughts."
The event featured key figures including director Kim Hee-won, screenwriter Kang Full, and cast members Ju Ji-hoon, Park Bo-young, Kim Seol-hyun, Eom Tae-goo, Lee Jung-eun, Kim Min-ha, Park Hyuk-kwon, Shin Eun-soo, and Kim Sun-hwa.
'Lighting Store' tells the story of a mysterious shop that illuminates the dark corners of an alley, attracting customers with hidden secrets. This project marks Kang Full's second screenplay following the global success of 'Moving' in 2023, generating significant buzz even before its production began.
Kim Min-ha also praised the director, saying, "He trusted me completely, allowing me to fully unleash my imagination during filming." Ju Ji-hoon added, "Director Kim Hee-won strictly adhered to the pre-agreed plans, creating a wonderful atmosphere on set."
The first four episodes of 'Lighting Store' will be released on December 4, with subsequent episodes rolling out weekly over the next two weeks.
