Park Bo-gum Teases Original Soundtrack for Netflix's 'Poksak Sogassuda'

On March 5, Netflix held a production briefing for its new original series '폭싹 속았수다' (Poksak Sogassuda) at the Conrad Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul. The event featured director Kim Won-seok, along with cast members IU, Park Bo-gum, Moon So-ri, and Park Hae-joon.

During the event, Park Bo-gum shared insights about the original soundtrack he performed for the series. He expressed that one of the main reasons for participating in the music stage was to ensure that the series resonates with viewers of all ages and nationalities, both in Korea and abroad. He emphasized the importance of creating a warm atmosphere for overseas audiences as well.

He remarked, "All the music featured in this series is truly exceptional. The selection is so perfectly aligned that it could lead to applause from viewers. Given that it's on Netflix, which has a global reach, I believe that just as K-pop has united the world, 'Poksak Sogassuda' will also be a drama that everyone can empathize with. I see it as a timeless masterpiece, and if you watch until the end, you might just hear our voices as well."

'Poksak Sogassuda' tells the adventurous life story of a rebellious girl named Ae-soon and a foolish but lovable man named Kwan-sik, set across the four seasons. The series is penned by Im Sang-chun, known for works like 'When the Camellia Blooms' and 'Fight for My Way', while Kim Won-seok, who directed 'My Mister', 'Misaeng', and 'Signal', takes the helm. IU and Park Bo-gum play the roles of young Ae-soon and Kwan-sik, while Moon So-ri and Park Hae-joon portray their adult counterparts, showcasing a dual role performance.

The series is set to premiere on March 7, with four episodes released every Friday over the course of a month.
