Park Bo-gum Successfully Hosts First Episode of 'The Seasons - Park Bo-gum's Cantabile'

'The Seasons - Park Bo-gum's Cantabile' premiered on March 14, 2025, with Park Bo-gum making his debut as a host. The show featured performances from artists such as No Young-sim, Sunwoo Jung-a, Jung Joon-il, SEVENTEEN's Hoshi and Woozi, as well as actors Kim Yoo-jung, Jin-young, and Kwak Dong-yeon.
As the first-ever actor MC of 'The Seasons', Park Bo-gum captivated the audience with a special opening performance, singing 'Let's Take a Break' by MeloMance. His signature sweet smile and relaxed charm showcased his hosting skills, while he also displayed a refreshing naivety typical of a new MC, earning enthusiastic applause from the crowd.
During an interview with No Young-sim, Park Bo-gum humorously fumbled with his cue cards, exclaiming, "Where did my notes go? They disappeared!" and added, "This is a bit random, right? It doesn’t connect, does it?" which brought laughter from the audience.
He also shared behind-the-scenes stories about inviting his fellow cast members from the KBS drama 'Love in the Moonlight'—Kim Yoo-jung, Jin-young, and Kwak Dong-yeon. Kwak Dong-yeon joked about being clueless about the invitation, saying, "I had no idea what was going on when I was asked what I was doing in March." Park Bo-gum expressed his gratitude, saying, "I asked them to make some time, and they agreed without knowing what it was about."
In a surprising twist, Kim Yoo-jung, Jin-young, and Kwak Dong-yeon prepared a surprise performance for Park Bo-gum, which they had not revealed during rehearsals. When asked about his feelings on becoming an MC, they praised him, saying, "Park Bo-gum is such a good person and loves connecting with others. He plays the piano well and is musically talented. We might cry every week!"
Kwak Dong-yeon added, "He cried a lot during rehearsal, and they had to redo the floor because it got wet from his tears." Park Bo-gum, feeling emotional, said, "These precious friends took the time to be here, and looking into their eyes made me feel like I was doing well, which was overwhelming."
He requested that the footage of his tears be edited out, to which the others suggested, "Let’s just keep it to a level of sobbing." Park Bo-gum expressed his deep appreciation, saying, "I am truly grateful for the precious time they spent here."
The three guests also shared their joy in reuniting, stating, "We can’t believe we’re all together again. Seeing you makes us happy every day. Thank you for inviting us today, and let’s continue to be happy together. We hope you stay true to yourself as an older brother."
