The Seongdong Police in Seoul confirmed they received a report on February 16 at 4:54 PM regarding Kim Sae-ron's death at her home, with no suicide note found.

Kim Sae-ron began her career as a child actress in the 2009 film 'Traveler' and gained recognition in 2010 with 'The Man from Nowhere.' She continued to act in various films and dramas throughout her career. However, after being caught driving under the influence in May 2022, resulting in a fine of 20 million won, she took a hiatus from acting to reflect on her actions. During this time, she was seen working at a café in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, and attempted a comeback in the play 'Dongchimi' last year but withdrew due to public backlash.
