Ok-soon from 'I Am SOLO' Breaks Down During Super Date Mission

In the latest episode of ENA and SBS Plus's 'I Am SOLO,' aired on December 18, 2024, contestant Ok-soon (옥순) was seen shedding tears during a mission that involved a coveted Super Date pass.

During the mission, Ok-soon expressed her distress, revealing in an interview with the production team, "I didn’t have anyone I wanted to go on a date with. Even if I won the Super Date pass, I wouldn’t know who to use it with, which put me in a difficult position." She added, "Seeing Hyun-sook (현숙) working so hard made me feel even more disheartened when she won the pass. It hit me hard."

Ok-soon further shared, "I’m the type who puts in a lot of effort at work, and I usually feel satisfied with my hard work. But it’s sad to feel like I have to work hard but can’t. I found myself questioning what I was doing."

After the mission concluded, Ok-soon hurried back to the women's room, where she expressed her disappointment to the other female contestants, saying, "I’m someone who gives my all in everything I do."

Meanwhile, contestant Kwang-soo (광수) who won the Super Date pass, found himself in a dilemma. He stated, "I really want to use the Super Date pass with Ok-soon. More than an explanation, I want to hear her feelings. I’m not sure how to resolve this situation."

Observing this, Defconn (데프콘) commented, "Kwang-soo doesn’t understand why Ok-soon is upset. He needs to know the reason to apologize and ask her out, but going in without that knowledge won’t help him at all."
