O Jeong-yeon Shares Experience as MC at Cheong Wa Dae Event

Broadcast personality O Jeong-yeon recently expressed her feelings about serving as the MC for a significant event at Cheong Wa Dae, sharing photos on her social media. On June 27, she posted, "MC Jeong-yeon. I had the honor of hosting the 'Month of National Defense and Veterans, Presidential Invitation' event," along with several images. In the photos, O is seen wearing a chic white suit, smiling gracefully in front of the official emblem of Cheong Wa Dae. Another image captures her joyfully holding the event script inside a beautifully lit venue adorned with chandeliers. O stated, "It was a great honor to be part of such a meaningful occasion, deeply reflecting on the noble sacrifices of our national heroes and their families." She also shared a touching moment from the rehearsal, recalling her late grandfather, Colonel Oh Jun-hwan, a veteran of the Korean War, as she spoke in front of the President and veterans' families. "I will never forget that our current peace was not given freely. I will remember your sacrifices and dedication," she added. O Jeong-yeon began her broadcasting career in 2004 as an announcer for Cheongju MBC and joined KBS as a public announcer in 2006. After leaving KBS in 2015, she transitioned to a freelance career and made her acting debut in the 2016 MBC drama 'Working Mom Parenting Daddy.' Since then, she has been active in various fields.
