Noel Announces Concert Following Father's Passing

Noel has announced his return to the music scene following the recent passing of his father, former lawmaker Jang Je-won. On his social media, he shared details about his upcoming solo concert titled 'No.1: El Arte,' scheduled for April 17. This marks a significant moment as it comes shortly after the news of his father's death, which has drawn public attention to Noel's activities.

Jang Je-won, who served as a vice president at a university in Busan, faced allegations of sexual assault in November 2015, which he vehemently denied. Following the release of a video by the accuser's side on March 27, Jang was found dead in an office building in Seoul on March 31, just before a scheduled press conference. His funeral was held at Haeundae Baek Hospital, where Noel, along with his mother, received mourners.

In the wake of his father's death, Noel faced a barrage of negative comments on social media. In response, he disabled comments on his posts and deleted a handwritten letter he had shared prior to his father's passing. On April 7, he expressed his grief on social media, reflecting on the emotional turmoil he experienced during the funeral and his desire to grow as a person moving forward.

Noel's concert is set to take place on May 31 at Yes24 Live Hall, marking a new chapter in his career as he navigates this challenging time.
